We’re excited to share with you our global NOAM Pesach resource:
“Why is this night different? Questions from NOAM Around the World.”
Created as a study and discussion booklet, this resource is designed to help NOAMistim prepare for Pesach and can also be used during the Seder itself-especially around the section of the “Four Sons.”
Pesach is a holiday deeply rooted in the power of asking questions. From the Mah Nishtanah to the diverse voices in the Haggadah, questioning is what opens the space for learning, connection, and storytelling. It reminds us that freedom is not only about leaving Egypt, but about having the courage to ask, think for ourselves, and engage with the world around us.
In this booklet, you’ll find a collection of questions from NOAMistim across the globe eflecting different perspectives, curiosities, and ways of understanding the world. Inspired by the idea of the Four Sons, we reimagine four types of NOAMistim: the Sage, the Historian, the Scholar, and the Sociologist, each bringing their own voice and lens to the Pesach story.
Alongside these questions, you’ll also find suggested activities for your snif or community, helping turn curiosity into meaningful conversation and connection.
You can download and use it online or print it, making it easy to bring into your Seder, your peulot, or your community gatherings.
We hope it inspires a meaningful, thought-provoking, and joyful Pesach for you and your community-and encourages you to keep asking your own questions.
