Born in Argentina and raised in Israel, Yael has dedicated her professional career to strengthening the connections between Israel and Jewish communities throughout Latin America. She brings extensive experience in international relations, Jewish education, community development, and leadership training, having worked closely with organizations, community leaders, and volunteers across the region.

Prior to joining Masorti Olami, Yael served as Regional External Relations Coordinator for the Ibero-American Federations at World WIZO, where she developed strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives with Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking federations throughout Latin America. She also served as a Shlicha (Israeli emissary) in Uruguay on behalf of the Jewish Agency for Israel, leading educational initiatives, aliyah programs, cultural activities, and projects connected to the Hanoar Hatzioni youth movement, helping strengthen Jewish identity and deepen the bonds between Israel and Jewish communities in the Diaspora.

Alongside her professional work, Yael serves as a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command, where she has held leadership roles focused on community resilience, emergency preparedness, and civilian coordination during times of crisis.

Yael holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Haifa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Communications from Bar-Ilan University. She is also a certified tour guide, licensed to guide in Israel and internationally.

Yael believes that strong Jewish communities are built through meaningful relationships, shared responsibility, lifelong learning, and a deep sense of belonging. She is passionate about building bridges between Israel and Jewish communities around the world, fostering authentic, inspiring, and lasting connections.

Yael lives in Israel and continues to be actively involved in educational, community, and leadership initiatives that strengthen the relationship between Israel and the global Jewish community.
