Executive Director of Midreshet Schechter and as a Board Member of the Masorti Movement in Israel, Rabbi Irina Gritsevskaya holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an LL.M. from Bar-Ilan University, and a master’s degree in Jewish Thought from JTS. She was ordained at the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary.

At Midreshet Schechter, she coordinates adult Jewish education networks in Israel while simultaneously managing humanitarian and spiritual relief programs for Jewish communities in Ukraine. She also leads Midreshet Yerushalayim, which fosters Jewish identity in Ukraine through communities, schools, kindergartens, and other educational initiatives.
