5th Annual International Reading of Megillat Hashoah

Co-sponsored by Masorti Olami, the Schechter Institutes, United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Rabbinical Assembly, and Seminario Rabínico Latinoamericano Marshall T. Meyer, the event took place on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Megillat Hashoah, the first of its kind and written in modern Hebrew with a mixture of biblical and rabbinic phrases, contains six chapters in memory of the Six Million. Published in five languages (English, French, Hebrew, Spanish, and Ukrainian [chapter #4]), it has been read every year in synagogues, schools and community centers around the world.
