Mirko Lebl

Member of Executive Committee, President of Masorti AmLat

Mirko Lebl was born in Uruguay, the son of a Yugoslav holocaust survivor and an English mother. After living in Argentina, he arrived in São Paulo, Brazil, at the age of 10. He received his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from The University of Leeds, UK and followed his studies in Germany and Brazil, in Warp Knitting and Business Administration respectively. He is a partner in companies in the Textile and Trade Marketing areas.

 

Mirko started as lay leader on the Executive Committee of Comunidade Shalom, Sao Paulo, 16 years ago. After acting as Administrative Director, Treasurer and VP, he was elected President both in 2015 and 2017. Since completing his term, he is President of the Board.

Three years ago, he was chosen to participate in the interim Board of Masorti AmLat and in 2018 he was elected to its Board as representative for the ‘Atlantic Region’ (Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) and as VP of its Executive Committee.

 

Mirko is married to Mariana and has two sons, Ilan and Gustavo. He enjoys practicing outdoor sports and activities.
