Fredi Rembaum is a retired Jewish community professional with a 30+ year career in nonprofit management, organizational development and institutional fundraising in Los Angeles. Since 2015, she has spent 5 months a year during the winter semester in Berlin with her husband, Rabbi Joel Rembaum, who teaches as Guest Halakhah Professor for rabbinical students of the Masorti/Conservative Zacharias Frankel College.  Frankel is the newest Masorti/Conservative rabbinical school, which is co-sponsored by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies of the University of Judaism in Los Angeles and the University of Potsdam's School of Jewish Theology. Fredi is actively engaged in consulting with Frankel College and recently established the American Friends of Zacharias Frankel College, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, to support the work of the College. Fredi joined the Masorti Olami Board in 2019.
