Rabbi Alejandro S. Bloch is Vice-Rector of the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, Professor of Jewish Theology in the Abraham Joshua Heschel Rabbinical School of the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary as well as Mashpia Rujani, spiritual guide.

 As a Rabbi for over 30 years, and since June 2008, Senior Rabbi at NBI – Nueva B'nei Israel in Santiago, Chile, he has represented the community in different governmental, non-governmental, and interfaith social forums.

 In his spiritual and intellectual training, he has been able to draw on traditional and academic Judaic frameworks as well as those of classical philosophy.

Previously he has had the honor of leading spiritually the Jewish community of Mendoza Argentina, and the N.C.I in Uruguay.
