NOAM Olami is the global network that connects Masorti/Conservative youth movements around the world. Our common goal is to develop Jewish identity and increase knowledge among Masorti/Conservative youth based on the values of NOAM: Masorti/Conservative Judaism, Zionism, Community Life, Democracy and Tikkun Olam. This global community of Masorti/Conservative youth allows the exchange of ideas and experiences, the opportunity to learn from each other and most importantly, to belong to a supportive, caring extended and international family.
The NOAM Olami network spreads across 15 countries with 35 chapters and over 4,500 participants. Our worldwide youth have participated together, despite distance, in global events such as a Purim costume competition, Hanukkah candle lighting, annual international seminars, conferences, exchanges and summer and winter camps. In the summer of 2019, the fourth “Onward NOAM Olami” program took place in Jerusalem: a six-week leadership-training program in Israel, which provides leadership development, education and an Israel experience for NOAM staff members from each country. Participants have shown remarkable success in furthering the goals of NOAM Olami in their home communities, as well as strengthening the bonds and mutual support among leaders throughout the world. NOAM Olami is crucial for the creation of Masorti leaders ensuring the future growth of Masorti Olami.
