Oranienburger Strasse Synagogue

About The Community

Before the Shoah, Oranienburger Strasse Synagogue was the largest in Europe, seating 3200 people. Today, the building houses a museum, an archive, offices of the Berlin Jewish Community, and our small sanctuary. We are an international congregation, and are proud about the diversity of our congregants.

We are happy to welcome visitors.

Please let us know beforehand, especially if you plan to come with a group.

Our rabbi, Rabbi Gesa Ederberg is a board member of the International Rabbinical Assembly and founder of Masorti Germany.
